Design Mark Updated ISO Certification to ISO 9001:2008.

Staying one foot ahead of the game, Design Mark has been certified to the latest ISO 9001 revision 2008, required by ISO by the end of 2010. Registered with NQA since 1998, Design Mark has grown in leaps and bounds since our original audit. Some of the areas that showed the greatest improvement in 2009 were:

• Upgrades to our Corrective Action Process, focus on 8D format responses.
• Improved production efficiencies resulting in scrap reduction.
• Commitment to training and cross training in manufacturing.
• Enhanced internal communications

Currently, Design Mark has been preparing for our next bi-annual audit scheduled for late October, and will undergo a full system audit for recertification in 2010. Staying ahead of ISO certification requirements is important to Design Mark in order to guarantee you the highest operating standards and production efficiency.
